As we approach Thanksgiving Day, we are given an opportunity to stop and reflect on the many ways that God has blessed us, and we give thanks to God for his generous love and mercy. We also acknowledge that God has called us to share our blessings with others, to build up the Kingdom of God.
Mindful of this call, Parishes across the Diocese of London take up an annual “Thanksgiving Appeal” collection on Thanksgiving Weekend (October 9-10). 100% of the money collected in the Thanksgiving Appeal remains in the Parish to help minister to those in need, pay day-to-day operating expenses, and support the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings.
As we continue to address the financial difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage you to consider making a donation to your Parish through the annual Thanksgiving Appeal.
