Greetings and Saluti Tutti!
As we gather on this 15th Sunday or Ordinary time this weekend, I am delighted to begin my new ministry with the Windsor Heritage Family of Parishes/Il Patrimonio.
I join in the long line of many who served at the historic Our Lady of the Assumption parish for well over 250 years and those who have ministered in the parish communities of St Alphonsus and St Angela Merici parish communities along with Saint Benedict Tridentine Rite Community and Saint Daniel Comboni Community.
Your distinct history is rich with so much diversity and a long line of many worshippers who have made these communities their homes and who have many sacrifices for this parish family.
The prospects of the multi-faceted character of this Heritage Family make this new assignment engaging and challenging and so full of life in the Lord for me.
I feel privileged to follow so many wonderful and dedicated priests of these Parishes now under the guidance of our Lord Jesus Christ, our the Good Shepherd and the many lay people who have served and continue to serve this distinctive Patrimonio/Family.
I thank Fr. Steve Huber, Fr Maurice Restivo, Deacon Paul Bezaire along with the entire parish family staff for their warm welcome.
I look forward to ministering with the Basilian Fathers and with the whole parish staff of the Windsor Heritage Family/Il Patrimonio, and ask for your prayers as I begin this new spiritual adventure.
